Jamie becomes an Iceman on Arctic adventure
Jamie Pattison, from Morpeth, took on the extreme self-sufficient 100km course – billed as the world’s toughest Arctic race – over remote Arctic Greenland.
His team for the event included Natalie Taylor, a British Army doctor, and Scott Webster, a professional mountain guide.

Hide AdOn day one, Jamie’s team finished the leg in seven hours and three minutes. The competitors could not race on days two and three due to the storms. On day four, Jamie’s team finished first in six hours. On the last day, again Jamie’s team came in first place with a time of nine hours and 19 minutes, which was four hours and one minute ahead of the next placed team.
