Care home residents in Cramlington complete fundraising cycling challenge
and live on Freeview channel 276
At Scarbrough Court in Cramlington residents took part in a two day bikeathon, collectively cycling 161 miles on an exercise machine.
The home says the idea encourages both residents and staff to keep active and £300 for wellbeing activities was raised.

Hide AdProject U Fitness Gym in Blyth loaned Scarbrough Court an exercise machine for the challenge.
Scarbrough Court activities coordinator Stacey Hunter said: “It has been a great way for our residents to keep active in a safe, supported environment.
“Having the fundraising target has proven to be a great incentive for everyone to go that extra mile.”
David Weaver, who lives at the home, said: “Cycling has kept me fit for years and I have enjoyed the challenge.”
